1090 Wire is a high-carbon steel wire containing approximately 0.90% carbon, designed for thermal spray applications that demand extremely hard and wear-resistant surface coatings. It produces strong, dense coatings with excellent adhesion, making it ideal for high-impact and abrasive environments. Its increased carbon content provides higher hardness compared to 1080 wire.
Aluminum purity, minimum 99.90% and wire diameter 1.50mm – 9.5mm.
